Dr. Yun Lee earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Taipei Medical University in 2020 and practiced in private practice for three years before pursuing specialty training in periodontology. Dr. Lee graduated in June 2026 with a Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) and a Certificate in Periodontology and is eligible for the American Board of Periodontology. He had experience in comprehensive periodontal and implant therapy, including traditional periodontal surgeries, regenerative procedures, mucogingival surgery, and digital workflows for implant planning.

He has been involved in both didactic and clinical teaching for first- through fourth-year dental students, teaching periodontal diagnosis, periodontal probing, calculus detection, and scaling and root planing. His research interests focus on implant dentistry, digital surgical techniques, and periodontal regeneration. His current research includes investigations on the accuracy of computer-assisted implant surgery and biological mechanisms associated with peri-implant disease.

Dr. Lee is committed to academic dentistry and is passionate about integrating evidence-based research, clinical practice, and teaching to advance patient care and periodontal education.
