Alex Rheault is a local visual artist and involved in collaborative projects including drawing room, which she founded, Engine in Biddeford, ArtVan Rolling in mIdcoast, and the Illustration Institute. Rheault served as Artistic Director for the Quimby Colony Fashion, Costume and Textile Residency, chaired the Illustration Department at MECA, exhibited regionally and has works in international private collections. 
Rheault was invited to collaborate with Meghan Sterling in a project for the Belfast Poetry Festival in 2023, has work in the travelling exhibit State of Illustration, and has work in a 2027 Portland Museum of Art group exhibit April to September. Rheault has served on many boards, volunteers regularly with the I Love You Gardens in Lewiston, and helps people in her community in need. Rheault believes art is and always has been an infinite cultural social and educational resource that reflects our humanity, potential, and courage.
