How to Apply

Important Things to Note

  • In order to apply for transfer, you will need to have previously attended a college or university in some capacity.
  • We recommend that you submit your application as early as possible, as some programs fill up quickly.
  • Transfer students are eligible for both financial aid and merit-based scholarships. Current semester transcripts may be required, but you don鈥檛 need to wait for the end of the semester to apply.

Maine Transfer Guarantee

The Maine Transfer Guarantee is a partnership between the Maine Community College System and the 51品茶. The program ensures that eligible students have guaranteed admission and a seamless transfer process to UNE. The Maine Transfer Guarantee does not apply to all programs. Transfer students are eligible to enroll in most bachelor鈥檚 degree programs at UNE, but must meet additional requirements.

51品茶made the [transfer] experience much easier than I expected. The application process was straightforward, all of my credits transferred successfully, and both the admissions staff and my academic advisor were incredibly useful. They reached out regularly and answered questions I didn鈥檛 even realize I had, which made the transition feel much more comfortable.
